After rigorous and thorough testing at Eastern Tobacco in Cairo, Egypt, the first Molins Octave mid-speed cigarette-making machine has passed its Protocol 2 test.rnAn impressive performance over the six-day test resulted in the machine producing over 3mn cigarettes each day with an average efficiency of 95.5%.rnThis result now paves the way for further orders for the machine from a number of other manufacturers. Molins are already building another three machines at its production facility in Plsen, Czech Republic, the first of which will be available with the new TMQS Multiplex laser unit MPL-400.
