Skysword 1 (Tien Chein I) is a short-range, infrared (IR) homing air-to-air missile in production in Taiwan for use with that country's air force. The missile is based on the AIM-9N Sidewinder. The missile is believed to have reached regular production in 1989 and entered service in 1991.
