Switzerland was one of the first European countries to acquire its own UAV for tactical reconnaissance. While France, German, and Britain all opted to develop systems locally, Switzerland decided to take advantage of Israeli experience in this field and enter a joint venture, resulting in a mature system in less time. This forecast presumes that the original acquisition objective of five systems will be met. The export appeal of the system has been limited due to high price, but some additional small scale exports are possible.
