Global Consultancy firm Bain & Company has said the luxury goods market worldwide, including leathergoods, had a value of €253 billion in 2015. This represents a rise of 1% compared to the same company's figure for 2014. FRANCE Luxury brand Chanel is to acquire a second small-skins tannery in southern France. Megisserie Richard is based in the French department of Aveyron. It has been in business since 1852 and specialises in lambskins from the Lacaune and Entrefino breeds.
