A retail operation dedicated to selling pre-owned and pre-loved high-end leather handbags has partnered with one of Ireland's most famous department stores, Arnotts in Dublin, to provide the stock for a new initiative, The Circular Room. Since 2012, Designer Exchange has run an operation to buy and sell second-hand handbags. Leathergoods group Tolomei has confirmed that it is preparing to open a new workshop in Haute-Correze in central France. It has told local media that the new facility will open its doors in the village of Monestier-Merlines in early 2021 with the workforce at the site growing steadily to around 60 people. Tolomei is the majority shareholder of leathergoods brand Le Tanneur, acquiring its stake from the Qatar Luxury Group in 2017.
