The Government of the Russian Federation deposited on May 12, 2009, its instrument of accession to the Patent Law Treaty, adopted at Geneva on June 1, 2000.rnThe instrument of accession contained a declaration in accordance with Article 23(1) of the Treaty, which states:rnARTICLE 23 Reservationsrn(1) [Reservation] Any State or intergovernmental organization may declare through a reservation that the provisions of Article 6(1) shall not apply to any requirement relating to unity of invention applicable under the Patent Cooperation Treaty to an international application.
