Use of Third Party's Trademark as Keyword May Constitute Infringement

The Korean Supreme Court has rendered a decision enunciating that use of a keyword, identical to a third party's registered trademark, in an internet portal search can constitute an infringement of the trademark if the keyword functions as a source identifier in a sponsored link (Supreme Court Case No. 2010 Hu 3073, May 24,2012).
