The European Commission, France, Spain, and the United Kingdom each separately filed formal requests with the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers board of directors April 7 and 8 asking it to overturn recent resolutions allowing the processing of applications for the .wine and .vin top-level domains (TLDs) to proceed without additional safeguards, albeit after a 60-day delay.
