Standup pouches have traditionally been used for both convenience and brand impact, with the adoption of clear panels helping to communicate naturalness and color further. For example, we see Ragu 'Nduja Red Sauce, Chicken Tonight Fiery Salt & Pepper Chili and Sharwood's Curry Kitchen Spicy Madras featuring windows, while German retailer Real goes for full disclosure on a pasta sauce with tomato and ricotta. Flavor experimentation is vast, with new flavors being tapped in western markets. For example, Dutch retailer Jumbo has launched an authentic Pakistani-style curry and Naked Soup has introduced a Japanese Teriya-ki soup. The latter has also introduced Ra-men Noodles Malaysia Laksa, which consists of "rice noodles in a spicy coconut and lemongrass soup." Homepride goes for classic American flavor with a Smoky Mac & Cheese Pasta Bake Sauce. Bone broth is trending in the nutritionals space, but also in the more traditional soups arena. Watmuff & Beckett has launched a Classic Chicken bone broth product in response.
