RN 104 - La Francilienne Elargissement à 2 x 3 voie entre A6 et A5 et construction d'un nouvel ouvrage de franchissement sur la Seine

The enlargement of "La Francilienne" between the A6 and A5 motorways has three main objectives: - Improvement of travel conditions for transit traffic and local traffic (92,000 vehicles per day); - Support for local development for the business centres of Evry, Senart and Corbeil-Essonnes; - Allowance for the environment through the construction of noise abatement systems, upgrading of the sewerage network and landscaping development. Improvement of travel conditions involves the construction of a new bridge over the Seine, doubling the existing structure. Its design was dictated by the contracting authority's desire to build a structure identical to the previous one. The structure is of prestressed concrete and is formed of a dual box-section deck with verbcal webs of variable height on pile foundations. It is 209 metres long, the distribution of the three spans being identical to that of the existing structure. The deck, 21 metres wide, is formed of two box sections 10 metres wide separated by 1-metre keying. The damage detected on the existing structure after its construction meant that very close monitoring had to be performed during the works. Accordingly, instrumentation (crack measurement apparatus, geophone, inclinometer and temperature sensor) was employed especially during the sheet piling driving and foundation stage.%L''élargissement de la Francilienne entre les autoroutes A6 et A5 répond principalement à trois objectifs : - l''amélioration des conditions de déplacement pour le trafic de transit et le trafic local (92000 véhicules/jour); - le soutien du développement local pour les pôles d''activités d''Evry, de Sénart et de Corbeil-Essonnes; - la prise en compte de l''environnement par la réalisation de protections acoustiques, la remise à niveau du réseau d''assainissement et les aménagements paysagers. L''amélioration des conditions de déplacement passe par la construction d''un nouvel ouvrage de franchissement de la Seine doublant l''ouvrage existant. Sa conception a été dictée par la volonté du maître d''ouvrage de réaliser un ouvrage identique au précédent. L''ouvrage est en béton précontraint constitué d''un tablier bicaisson à âmes verticales de hauteur variable fondé sur pieux. Sa longueur est de 209 m, la distribution des trois travées étant identique à l''ouvrage existant. Le tablier de largeur 21 m est composé de deux caissons de 10 m séparés par un clavage de 1 m. Les désordres constatés sur l''ouvrage existant après sa construction ont nécessité sa surveillance renforcée lors des travaux. Aussi, une instrumentation (fissuromètre, géo-phone, inclinomètre et sonde de température) a été mise en œuvre notamment pendant la phase de battage des palplanches et de fondations.
