To bring together the worlds of fashion design, manufacturing and the media to make a statement about sustainability: that is the aim of the new Cittadellarte Fashion BEST (Bio Ethical Sustainable Trend) project.rnThe initiative was conceived and is being financed by international artist Michelangelo Pistoletto, born and based in Biella, on behalf of his Cittadellarte Foundation, which seeks to inspire a responsible change in society through ideas and creative projects. The foundation decided in 2009, the UN International Year of Natural Fibres, to investigate fashion with an initiative born from the relationship between social responsibility and art, and the part ofrnthe fashion world which is searching for a new model of ethical and sustainable development.
