Western Australia superfine production up

Production of Australian superfine wool under 18.5 microns for the first four months of the season was 6% higher than in 2008, with most of the increase in the 15-17 micron range. Ultrafine production under 15.5 microns fell by 6.7%, and fine wool production (18.6-19.5 microns) fell by 11%. Much of the increased production has come from Western Australia.
