Huddersfield Fine Worsted (HFW), one of the most well-established names in British textiles, is enjoying a new lease of life following the purchase of the company earlier this year by the major US fabric company HMS International Fabrics Corp., run by the long-time American textile businessman Mickey Solomon. The move is helping HFW broaden its product ranges, improve its presentation and marketing, capitalise on the strength of its various brands, and widen its customer base.
