A series of major new marketing campaigns are being launched across Europe and Asia urging people to live with the natural and sustainable beauty of wool. The Campaign for Wool, launched by HRH The Prince of Wales earlier this year, begins in the UK with the Wool Week promotions from October 11-17, and will spread to other key global markets in 2011. The promotion is being complemented through the launch by Australian Wool Innovation (AWI) of a new global Merino wool fibre education campaign, and a new high-end promotion in China. Australian Wool Innovation CEO Stuart McCullough has said that it is the first time in a decade that widespread and targeted marketing campaigns are taking place across key northern hemisphere markets.
