Charles Clayton bought by SIL and WT Johnson

Yorkshire fabric company Charles Clayton, which went into administration in February, has been purchased by the Bradford-based speciality fibres trader SIL Holdings, and Huddersfield finisher WT Johnson. The two companies have incorporated Charles Clayton into their jointly-owned Stanley Mills weaving facility in Bradford, which has also recently become home for two other famous Yorkshire fabric brands - William Halstead and John Foster. The fabric companies at Stanley Mills operate on an individual basis using shared administration services.
