Helen Cathles, the new president of the Australian Superfine Wool Growers' Association (ASWGA), has said that she is aiming to increase the use and awareness of the ASWGA Trademark of Excellence at a time when a growing number of luxury consumers are showing interest in the provenance of what they buy.rnThrough ASWGA's Trademark of Excellence, superfine wool can be traced back to the farm where the fibre was produced, with each bale endorsed by an ASWGA grower member's unique number. Fabric companies who are members of ASWGA use the Trademark of Excellence to help communicate the exceptional quality and fineness of the Australian superfine wool used to produce their finest wool cloths. Some of the world's top weavers are among ASWGA's 19 overseas members. The association has around 200 Australian grower members.
