Superfine wool market flat during March

A flat market for superfine wool was witnessed in March, with prices falling only modestly from February. An increase in offerings of ultrafine wool was noted, as many housed operations close due to a lack of financial viability. Seasonal conditions remained very favourable in the New England, Mudgee and Goulburn-Yass regions. In Victoria some parts are becoming dry with supplementary feeding taking place.
