Restructuring of Indian textile sector sees positive results

The Indian textile industry suffered a downturn in 2011 /12, due mainly to the global economic slowdown and partially because of high price volatility in the international and domestic market, according to Shri Anand Sharma, the Indian Minister of Textiles.
