The challenges faced by the carpet industry in communicating the benefits of wool carpets has led to the creation of a new body, the Wool Carpet Focus Group (WCFG), which has the single aim of increasing the sale of wool carpets and rugs. Martin Curtis, the chairman of WCFG, said: "The carpet industry has found it difficult to coordinate the efforts of manufacturers, distributors and retailers in order to send a clear and unambiguous message to the public that wool carpets and rugs are best #naturally."
