The relevance of digital fairs was proved in Europe once again this season, especially by the dynamic organisation of Pitti Connect. The digital project was pushed to the fore by the requirements of keeping trade alive in the teeth of the pandemic in 2020. For the latest edition of Pitti Uomo, which ran from 12 January to 5 April, the physical show was again replaced by the online spotlight on different styles, bolstered by images posted on Instagram via @pittiuomo_ official, supplemented by the brands and manufacturers, and of course able to be viewed by its ultimate wearers, with the buzz of Pitti Uomo successfully generated in the digital show.
