Asia Pacific Rayon (APR) has broken ground in the Indonesian viscose manufacturing sector by receiving the STeP sustainable textile and leather production certification from Oeko-Tex.STeP provides a modular analysis of a company's chemicals, environmentalperformance,environmentalmanagement,occupational health and safety, social responsibility, and quality management.APR, a vertically integrated viscose-rayon manufacturer with a production capacity of 240,000 tonnes per year, was awarded level three STeP certification, the highest-ranking level for all six standard modules.
