Less moisture in natural fibres

Fraunhofer scientists, in collaboration with their partners, have combined a special fibre treatment and yarn technology designed to make natural fibres moisture repellent. The scientists said that the aim is to overcome the disadvantage that natural fibres absorb water very easily, limiting their mechanical strength.
