The hull is composed of cedar strip-planks, epoxy, and Dynel; the construction is strong and simple, and shop-classroom friendly. Dynel is incredibly abrasion-resistant and is nice to use, especially if you use a release fabric such as peel ply for an excellent finish. It doesn't make you itch as fiberglass does, either.I hope that this is close to what you had in mind, Michael.
