Call me paranoid, but I've been looking at a lot of pretty winter boating scenes lately and have been getting all the wrong vibes. Here's a pretty little catboat anchored in a snug cove with snow-covered pines in the background. The artist wants me to have pretty little feelings about that. Instead, I think: bad place to anchor; too snug; no swinging room if the tide changes, and if it ices over during the night and then thaws, the ice will pull the caulking out and sink the boat, especially since there doesn't seem to be anyone aboard.
