Dear Jim:Thanks very much for your email requesting the design of a "micro" daysailer/coastal cruiser. I really like this type of boat because, as Phil Bolger and others have pointed out, with little boats you can get thousands more people on the water for the price of one single-purpose racer—like an AMERICA'S Cup yacht (for example). Also, good small boats are a lot of fun!
