摘要

The WMU Journal of Maritime Affairs aims at promoting and disseminating research in Maritime Safety, Security and Environmental Protection. In this vein, this volume comprises a selection of papers presented during the International Symposium on Maritime Safety, Security and Environmental Protection (SSE07), held on September 20-21, 2007, in Athens, Greece and organized by the Laboratory for Maritime Transport at the National Technical University of Athens. Papers were selected as representative of some of the key issues presented during the symposium.
