Aerohive Networks hires VP of business development

Aerohive Networks, a provider of control-lerless Wi-Fi and cloud-enabled networking, announced that it has hired Bill Hoppin as vice president of business development responsible for strategic and partner relationships. Prior to joining Aerohive, Hoppin was VP of sales and business development at Audience, a supplier of voice processor chips for the mobile market, where he built and managed sales and support growing the business from pre-product to tens of millions in quarterly revenue in less than four years, engaging leading customers such as Sharp, Panasonic, Samsung, LG, Pantech, HTC, Compalcom, Foxconn, and HP/ Palm.
