It's one thing to long for a jet pack. It's quite another to want to lash together four DIY rockets like the one pictured here and launch yourself 25,000 feet into the air. Bob Maddox isn't waiting for a jet pack. By day, Maddox is a carpenter in Medford, Oregon. But when work's done, he trades his chisels and planes for grinders and TIG welders.
