Computer program for the calculation of drafting, drawing force and drawing power

摘要

Following on from the article published in the October 1996 issue of Wire Industry, which outlined the reduction calculations used in wire drawing, this article has introduced drafting and other more complicated calculations, for which modern computers can be utilised. The new PERENG program, which has been developed for the calculation of drawing series, production quantity, drawing forces, power, etc, has also been described.
