AN AIR FORCE REBORN

摘要

"Transformation" is one of those overused terms of the post-Cold-War era that can mean different things to different people in the context of upgrading and reorganizing a nation's armed forces to deal with both new technology and new threats. But even the most casual observer of the wide sweep of activity now under way across Air Command would have to admit that this is an Air Force that is, indeed, being fundamentally transformed from anything that came before.
