Green Skies Ahead, a new exhibition exploring energy efficiency in the aviation sector, opened on June 16 at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum in Ottawa. The exhibit takes visitors on a tour of the innovative carbon-friendly technology that will shape commercial aviation over the next 50 years: high-efficiency jet engines, new super-light, super-strong composite materials, innovative wing designs, and, cutting-edge navigation technology that will create superhighways in the sky.
