CESSNA SELECTS P&WC TO POWER GRAND CARAVAN EX

The Cessna Aircraft Company has chosen the Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) PT6A-140 turboprop engine to power the Grand Caravan EX. Announced at EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wise, the Grand Caravan EX will offer increased horsepower and the ability to expand its global operations profile."The Grand Caravan EX will climb faster and have the power and capacity to take on missions in parts of the world with higher elevations and higher temperatures while still delivering on utility," said Lannie O'Bannion, Cessna business leader for the Caravan. "Simply put, this aircraft places more of the world within reach."
