ATAC Strongly Encourages Removal of "Regulatory Irritants" - Further to the earlier request from Minister Fletcher for industry to identify "irritants" to the regulatory process and regulations, we continue to advocate for implementing our many suggestions, especially those related to approval of manual amendments. These will assist both our industry and the regulator in becoming more efficient without jeopardizing safety. In fact, many of these will enable and encourage continuous improvement of safety related aspects of our operations, a true attribute of a quality system.
