Top Canadian Schools Join Forces

Another dimension to New Brunswick post secondary education was added with the joint announcement that Mount Allison University and the Moncton Flight College will be offering a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Aviation. The multi-disciplinary degree will offer students the chance to obtain their Commercial Pilots Licence while completing an undergraduate degree.Mount Allison University President and Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Robert Campbell, says, "This is a great day for Mount Allison, the Moncton Flight College, and the region as a whole. The new Bachelor of Science (Aviation) program is the first degree program of its kind in Atlantic Canada and draws together both Mount Allisons and the Moncton Flight Colleges strength in teaching and training. It also reflects the growing demand for professionals with a liberal arts education and criticalthinking skills and combines this with hands-on training to prepare them for the next step."
