Wind power survives end of Gaddafi regime

As Libya continues to recover from civil war, the country's first planned wind project, the 61MWAl-Fatayeh development, could emerge as a symbol of a return to normality. On a commercial level, the project also spearheads the move into the Arab and African wind markets by Egyptian electrical engineering and cable group El Sewedy, through subsidiary El Sewedy for Wind Energy Generation (SWEG).
