Utility helped with its bearings

When a UK wastewater utility was having problems with bearing failure on its rotor aerators, it turned to Corgin. Corgin proposed replacing the rotor with a bracket-mounted Spiral Aerator for low-cost and well-mixed aeration, as well as being free from bearing problems and other maintenance headaches. The original suggestion was to replace all four rotors serving the two ditches, but prudence dictated that only the dead rotor was replaced. The Spiral Aerator performed better, while using half the power of the old rotor, says Corgin. Based on energy savings alone, a payback period of only two months was estimated. When a second rotor failed six months later, it was replaced by a Spiral Aerator.
