A residual chlorine analyser that talks is available from Process Instruments. According to the company, the CRIUS 3500 analyser "is already offering customers cost benefits". The device uses a GSM/GPRS modem to send texts to alert the user when it needs maintaining or calibrating. The CRIUS 3500 uses buffer-less sensors, and can act as a data collector gathering information from other less sophisticated instruments on site.
