Sykes supplies pumps for Severn Trent

Pump hire specialist Sykes Pumps has supplied a battery of electric submersible and diesel pumps to help contractor Black & Veatch (B&V) carry out a major sewage treatment infrastructure upgrade for Severn Trent Water. The pumps were used to bypass the final effluent stage at the Strongford Sewage Treatment works in north Staffordshire, allowing B&V to construct two new reinforced concrete chambers for the plant.
