Crowcon's intrinsically safe TXgard-IS+ gas detector is fitted with electrochemical sensors that enable it to detect a wide range of toxic gases and oxygen. Gases detected include those commonly found in industrial applications such as carbon monoxide (CO), hydrogen sulphide (H2S), chlorine (CI2), ammonia (NH3), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), sulphur dioxide (SO2) and oxygen (O2).rnEnvironments where the Txgard IS+ can be used include water and sewage treatment plants, steel manufacturing facilities, oil and gas drilling and processing facilities. Simple to operate, it has an intuitive display menu and keypad which enables simple maintenance and which provides comprehensive diagnostic facilities which allow true, one-person non-intru-rnsive calibration.
