The Population of Lincolnshire is growing and responsibility for providing a clean, safe and sustainable water supply to Lincolnshire falls to Anglian Water Services. It was identified in Anglian Water's AMP5 business plan that additional resources were needed to meet the forecast water requirements for the growing town of Boston and surrounding area. There was also a need to provide resilience to the West Pinchbeck Water Treatment Works (WTW). Ian Turner, special projects delivery manager at Anglian, explains: "The population of Boston is expected to rise significantly over the next 25 years and this will put pressure on existing supplies.
