Wireless level monitors

Aquatel's range of wireless level monitors and level controllers using ultrasonic technology are available in the UK through Penstar. Pumping and filtration engineer Penstar has been appointed UK national distributor for New Zealand-based Aquatel wireless level solutions. As well as being a stockist for major pump distributors in the UK, Penstar also distributes for a number of European companies but felt Aquatel offered the best package for economic level measurement. The DUO unit is the level monitor version that can check up to six tanks with a depth from lm to 4m and has a wireless range of 300m or 10km with additional booster antennae fitted to both ends. The display unit can be set with high and low level alarms and will even give the air temperature at the tank site. The M107-BT is the pump control version which, in addition to having all the features of the DUO unit, can control a pump up to 15amp via its wireless signal. This feature is beneficial where fitting signal cable between pump and tank is not possible.
