The plasma generator uses air air-cooled technology that eliminates the need for expensive external cooling. The new OPIAir axial optical plasma interface needs naex-ternal cooling either, and offers sensitivity improvements of up to six times compared to conventional radial plasma observation, achieving detection limits at ppb levels.
