Samplers pass tough EA tests

Mcerts, The monitoring certification scheme introduced by the Environment Agency (EA), gives end-users and inspectors confidence in the quality of environmental measurements being made in the field. The scheme is now well established and covers a wide range of equipment and services, including online analysers and automatic samplers. Quite rightly, the test procedures for measuring equipment are rigorous. Despite this, when Endress+Hauser launched a new range of sam- plers both the portable and stationary samplers passed. Endress+Hauser supplies samplers with options that enable you to specify a device to suit your applications exactly. These include varying sampling regimes, choices of inputs and outputs, relays, suction hose diameters, bottle configurations, dosing system level detectors and temperature measurements. All are important in ensuring a representative sample is collected and that it is preserved until it is able to be tested.
