Swisscom Partners Ericsson To Target The M2M Market

Switzerland's incumbent, Swisscom, has partnered with Swedish nvendor Ericsson to target the machine-to-machine (M2M) market. nSwisscom will offer services using Ericsson's Device Connection nPlatform, with trials beginning in February 2012 and the launch of ncommercial services scheduled for summer 2012. BMI believes nthe partnership strengthens Swisscom's competitive position in nthe M2M market, and will help the operator beneft from demand ngrowth for M2M services.
