Several states, including Florida, Texas, Michigan and Virginia, have begun to address the telecom tax reform "movement" by pursuing independent solutions. Minnesota and Missouri are taking the lead in dealing with the issues and policies of municipal wi-fi. This list is by no means comprehensive and is meant to provide a sampling of the types of actions occurring throughout the nation — and making their way to California.
