The development of a system for the control of welding parameters for metal-arc active gas welding in real time is presented. At the same time the procedure necessary for the use of fuzzy logic is explained. Test welds produced with an industrial robot in combination with a thyrislor power source and a conventional personal computer as process computer demonstrate the efficiency of the system.
