The 16 attendees, with diverse perspectives and experience, discussed several topics. The coordinate systemsrnand mass properties reporting guidance in RP-6 was reviewed in detail, so that a project proposal could berndeveloped. The proposal will cover three activities: (a) maintenance of RP-6; (b) conversion to the new SAWE RPrntemplate and number scheme; and (c) conversion into a SAWE/ANSI standard. The maintenance activities willrninclude identifying the context on coordinate systems and references and sign convention for the product of inertialrnintegral definition. Other meeting topics included: a review of status and relationships of other RPs and standards,rnan overview of the ANSI process steps, possible training class needs in the future, mass properties outreach orrnstudent engagement ideas, model based systems engineering as related to mass properties, and possible futurernpaper topics related to missiles and space applications.
