MWH Soft to assist Los Angeles in water-saving efforts

The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) Recycled Water Division will implement MWH Soft's InfoWater Suite software to help meet the city'srnpledge of meeting water demands through conservation and recycling.rnSince LADWP officials unveiled the "Water Supply Action Plan" in 2008, the city's total use of recycled water is up to 7,200 acre-feet per year. The water is used for irrigation and industrial purposes, and for environmental uses, including serving as a barrier to seawater intrusion.
