Waterspace plans for Liverpool approved

A new waterspace strategy to make better use of Liverpool's waterfront, announced in November by the Canal & River Trust, has been approved by Liverpool City Council. The strategy focused on the future use and development of the 250-year-old South Docks area, extending from Canning Dock in the north to Brunswick Dock in the south. CRT suggests separate uses for three distinct zones within the docks, to develop them without damaging their World Heritage Site status.
