Having spent five years travelling around the waterways network in their converted ex-ship's cutter Heron, 1950 promised to be an interesting year for Reginald and Marjorie Grundy. The Inland Waterways Association was planning to hold its first ever National Rally & Festival at Market Harborough over the August bank holiday and they definitely intended to be there.
